I'll just have to hide it in the back of my collection so she won't even see it. I also saw the arx540 dirt bike, how are those? Can I jump those? Oh man, my girls gonna kill me spending all this money on r/cs.
Any input for a newbee would be much appreciated. I was thinking I'd run it stock till I got the hang of it, but then again I'm impatient. In my experience RTR does'nt always mean you can pull them out of the box and good to go. I have'nt bought a RTR in a long time so I'll take some parts apart and read through the hints section for advice. Hopefully this sensorless motor will be fine, I've spent well over $500 already and don't want to spend another $160 for the sensored novak mongoose on my first r/c bike. I programed the esc so there's no cogging. I'm gonna be running a 6800kv sidewinder system I have laying around. 3s lipo makes my other brushless r/cs rocket, so let me know if that's overkill. The demensions are pretty close to the one that venom sells for $50, 70mm x 34mm x 17mm. I also ordered 3 3s 1050mah 30c lipo made by Rhino, the ones I have laying around might be too big, and they were cheap at $15. I'd like to get all the possible upgrades for this bike so if there are any other hop ups please let me know. On the tips section I read that the rotor on the front brakes come off sometimes, and I was wondering if I should order this formby alloy disk brake mounts, and also these scratch bar and damper. I also ordered all the option CF and alloy parts from Venom and Tower hopefully they come at the same time. Hey guys, I ordered one of these as my first rc motorcycle.
